SERIES 201
This is the smallest series in the vertical handle hold-down clamping series. U-shaped hold-down bar furnished with bonded neoprene tipped 10-32 spindle assembly (201208) and flanged washers (102111). Ergonomic handle grip included for greater operator comfort. Stainless steel models supplied with hex head spindle (201943).

MODEL 229
Featuring a unique cam action, this clamp will hold workpieces of inconsistent height. Ideal for castings or forgings, the Model 229 - once set for the nominal or average piece height - will allow for a 5/32" deviation larger or smaller than average. The overall clamping range is 11/32". Accommodates any 1/2" spindle. Furnished with flanged washers (247109), 1/2-13 x 3 5/16 hex head spindle, and red vinyl grip.

MODEL 518
This model features a forged hold-down bar and ergonomic plastic grip. The forged hold-down bar can be cut or welded to suit the user's fixture. MODELS 548, 5789 588
These are the largest capacity hold-down units, designed for fast cycling and accurate repeatability. They incorporate the patented "bar-guide" feature which gives lateral support to the hold-down bar at the front of the base. This extra support improves rigidity and repeatability. The clamps can be welded in place, attached by side mounting or clevis mounted. All models are supplied with red vinyl handle grip. Hold-down bar can be machined to meet the application requirements.

Smallest of the angular bar models. Compact design gives increased clearance under the bar. The furnished bolt retainer may be attached to bar at an angle to keep spindle square with work piece (210114). Red vinyl grip is furnished. The Model 220 has a standard flanged base while the Model 228 features a separate base assembly which permits mounting at any angle to suit applications. Accommodates any 3/8" spindle assembly (not included).

Low silhouette and mounting flexibility provides maximum ease of part loading and unloading. When opened, the bar completely clears work area. Designed for the most rugged production jobs. Handle and links are forged alloy steel, coined and machined to close tolerances. Have hardened pivot pins and serrated hardened bushings. Model 557 has a variable position straight base, and Model 560 has a 1" square optional position mounting bar similar to Model 530. Model 558 is a vertical handle variation of Model 557. Model 568 is the same as Model 558 except for the bar, which is 1 3/8" thick. All hold-down bars can be machined to meet your needs.

These models offer a combination of safety design and a patented bar guide feature. The bar guide gives extra lateral support and rigidity to the hold-down bar at the front of the base. The units are designed to give more hand clearance between the bar and handle when the clamps are in the full open position. Models 213 through 237 are supplied with neoprene tipped spindle assemblies, flanged washers, and ergonomic handle grips. The "S" bar on models 245-S and 245-SB are of a 2-piece welded construction. All 245 models and all stainless steel models are supplied with a hex head spindle assembly (1/2-13).

These low silhouette hold-down clamps feature an unusual handle that can be operated from either side or from behind. These small, compact units provide considerable holding capacity in a small package size. All models provided with red vinyl handle grip and flanged washers.
