Ferrite Shallow Pot Magnets The Eclipse range of Ferrite Shallow Pot Magnets are wide and shallow and thus are ideal for limpet type gripping applications. Each magnet in the range is manufactured using standard M6 thread for building into jigs and fixtures and is fitted with a J bolt.
Ferrite Shallow Holdfast Magnets All Ferrite Shallow Holdfast Magnets are fitted with a screw down bolt to facilitate the disengagement of workpieces. Each magnet is manufactured with three pre-threaded holes and standard M6 thread.
Ferrite Channel Magnets This range of magnets are ideal for use as 'bases' to machine tool accessories and industrial light fittings where temperatures do not exceed 80°c
Magnetic Holdfasts A range of Pot Magnets for workholding and workhandling where positive grip is required, but not attraction from a distance. Each Holdfast is equipped with a screw down handle because of the exceptionally strong grip of this range of magnets. Magnetic Holdfasts can be used singly or together to make welding and other assembly jigs.
Holes are tapped M8 x 1.25mm pitch except E942 and E938 which have drilled and untapped 8.4mm diameter holes. Magnetic Holdfasts should not be used in applications where temperature exceeds 220°c.
Magnetic Foot A rectangular block comprising two pot type magnets set into one mild steel housing. The Eclipse Magnetic Foot is ideal for gripping applications.
The mild steel case is suitable for drilling and tapping in most locations. The maximum operating temperature for this product is 220°c.
Neo-Hold Bi-pole Gripping Magnets Very strong gripping forces are achieved by having 2 poles close together on one face (bi-pole). The Neo-Hold range are manufactured using Neodymium Iron Boron magnetic material which provides concentrated magnetic strength. This makes them ideal for use in situations where space is restricted yet where greater holding power is required. The maximum operating temperature for this range is 100°c.
