Our unique process disintegrates only the center out of a broken tap or drill leaving the hole intact. We can help you reclaim expensive parts and provide immediate repairs on all types of equipment, eliminating production overruns and late deliveries.

Our metal disintegrators quickly and easily remove all types of taps, drills and fasteners. The process can cut hexagon shapes to back out studs or bolts, remove studs by a series of cuts, emboss identification on rolls of steel, drill and counter bore. And because the cut is continuously flushed with coolant, even the threads of the work piece stay cool and unaffected. Once the center is cut out, the remaining flutes are easily removed from the hole.








 

Metal Disintegrator Table Top Models

Table Top machines are complete metal disintegration work centers with the work support, head support and coolant system needed for efficient disintegration. Cast iron work tops provide secure support for parts as they are worked on, and a good electrical grounding. The work top surface is machine ground with built-in T-slots for standard T-bolts to hold parts securely during the disintegration process.

Table Top machines include a column and cross arm head support system that provides solid, precise control of the disintegrator head and auto feed units are available to provide added control to the process. Each unit comes with a built in coolant system consisting of a 90 PSI pump, coolant tank and drainage channels in the worktop for optimal performance and recycling of coolant.

All of our metal disintegrators include a power supply, disintegrating head, cabling and controls.

Our standard sizes for table top size, column height and cross arm length from the centerline of the head are listed below by model series. Column height is measured from the top of the table.

Metal Disintegrator Compact / Portable Models

Compact/portable metal disintegrators are moveable work centers for removing broken taps, drills, studs, work-hardened metal or any hard conductive material in difficult to reach locations. Using the remote control accessory, these models can operate effectively at any distance from their power supply.

All compact/portable machines come in a roll around cabinet. The disintegrating power supply, coolant pump, motor and tank are designed to fit inside the cabinet. The disintegrating head and seven feet of cabling are included. Additional extension cables are available in 10-foot increments (See our accessories section).

Carbide Disintegrator Models

Carbide disintegrators are complete disintegration work centers for the removal of carbide impact buttons in drill heads and carbide tooling.

We offer a range of carbide disintegrators: A powerful compact/portable machine when it's impossible to bring the part to the machine, and table top models to handle parts of all sizes.

Our standard sizes for table size, column height and cross arm reach from the centerline of the head are listed below. Column height is measured from the top of the table. Taller pieces may be positioned on the floor for additional height.
