Recessed Type A

Combined with a standard bolt, the Type A recessed-head Lindapter forms a hook-bolt of innumerable uses, without having to design or make special clips. The recess holds the bolt head captive whilst the nut is tightened and the skirt, which touches the flange, prevents the Lindapter rotating. The tail-length ' V' should be chosen to suit the thickness of the flange being gripped. See tail-length/packing combinations. Type A Lindapters are suitable for standard hexagon bolts to American National Standard ANSI B.18.2.1 - 1972. Finish: Electro-Galvanised.
