Clipped Washer

Type CW is a thin packing which slips over the bolt and supports the tail of the Lindapter. For use under Types A, AH, B, BR and E where the flange is thicker than the tail-length available. Two clipped washers can be used one above the other if needed. Check that the Lindapter rests at 90° to the bolt when torque is applied. See Calculation of bolt length table and Tail-Length/Packing combination table.

Note: It is essential that the surface on which the Type CW rests extends as far as the outer edge of the clipped washer. The flat surface of the packing must always be uppermost.
