Roller Clutches
For applications demanding precise motion control
The simple construction of the Roller Clutch
results in an easy-to-produce one-way clutch device that saves
money for the user or OEM. Overrunning clutches are also known
as free-wheeling or one-way clutches. In these roller-ramp clutches,
engagement occurs with a wedging of the rollers between the inner
cam and the outer housing. Torque capacity is nomially limited
only by the contact stresses between the parts. Standard keyways
