Low Chloride Metal Markers

The Nissen Low Chloride Metal Marker was specifically designed to safely mark metals which are attacked by halogens and low melting metallics. It will not impart contaminants that could cause cracking or weakening of the metal, especially with heat applications, such as welding or cutting.

  • Marks on rough, smooth, wet, oily or dry surfaces.

  • Marks withstand heat and weathering; they won't chip, peel, fade or rub-off.

  • Meets most specifications for Stainless Steel and nuclear components. Independent Laboratory Certifications of Analysis are available and traceable to each marker.

  • Available in 8 bright, high-gloss colors
    White, Yellow, Black, Red, Blue, Green, Orange and Pink

  • 3 Point sizes.
    5/64", 1/8", 3/16"







Low Chloride Feltip Paint Marker

  • All markers intended for use on Stainless Steel must have only trace amounts of halogens, sulfur, and low-melting metals to prevent cracking or weakening of the metal.

  • All of our Low Chloride Markers meet or exceed the requirements of the United States Energy Research and Development Administration's RDT Standard F-7-3T. An independent laboratory's Certification of Analysis is traceable to the marker and is available for all of our Low Chloride Markers.

  • The Nissen Low Chloride Feltip Paint Marker utilizes a valve action to dispense a fast-drying, high gloss enamel paint.

  • Marks on rough, smooth, wet, oily, or dry surfaces.
  • Marks will withstand heat and weathering; they won't chip, peel, fade, or rub-off.
  • Available in 4 bright, high-gloss colors. White, Black, Red, and Yellow
  • Long-lasting replaceable 1/8 in. fiber tips.
