Keystock

STEEL KEYSTOCK

PRECISION BRAND Steel Keystock is used to provide driving torque between shafts and pulleys, gears, sprockets, etc.
Stocked in zinc plated square and rectangular 12" and 36" lengths
Square keystock range from 3/32" to 2"
Rectangular keystock range from 1/8" x 3/16" to 3/4" x 1"
Contact factory for specific part numbers
Most material is high quality cold drawn low carbon C1018 steel
Meets ASTM A-108
Tolerances on material are oversized to assure tight fit in keyways for positive, zero backlash power transmission
Plain finish and non-stock lengths are available from factory

STAINLESS STEEL KEYSTOCK

PRECISION BRAND Stainless keystock is used where corrosion resistance is a concern
Frequently used in marine and food applications
Made of 303/304 stainless steel
Rockwell Hardness: RB 80-95
Stocked in square and rectangular 12" lengths
Square sizes range from 1/8" to 1"
Rectangular sizes range from 3/16" x 1/2" to 3/4" x 1"

METRIC KEYSTOCK

PRECISION BRAND Metric keystock is used to accommodate metric keyways
True metric keystock that conforms to metric keyway specifications
Material is high quality cold drawn steel C1020 to C1045
Gold zinc dichromate plating on most sizes makes product identification easy
All sizes meet ISO R773 and BS 4235, most sizes meet DIN 6880
Stocked in square and rectangular 12" lengths
Meter and non-stock lengths also available
Square sizes range from 2mm to 25mm
Rectangular sizes range from 8mm x 7mm to 50mm x 28mm
